Q:  How often are you receiving Compliments on your hair?

A lot!  It’s not unusual for complete strangers to approach me and ask who does my hair.  That’s why it’s important to carry an ample supply of Kati’s business cards in my bag!

Oh…I’ve become a bit of a product “junkie” so I have a few favorites.

However, Pureology products are all natural so they are definitely my favorite.

Q: Why do you choose Kati, “your modern hair lady”???

I met Kati in a networking group.  She immediately earned my respect after she nailed the name of the salon which I was currently using.  At the time I was not searching for a new stylist; but being a member in the networking group meant committing to at least “trying” other members services.  So, I gave it a go and the rest is history.  Kati is fabulous!  I receive compliments on my hair all the time.  My hair is the healthiest it’s ever been.  This is due mostly to Kati’s constant education on how to take care of it and which products to use.

And last…but not least, Kati is fun!!  We share lots of laughs at every appointment.  I’m grateful for the relationship we have built.

At least once a week if not more often. Most recently from a stylist that loved my hair!

Q: Describe your Hair Texture for everyone:

It is very fine – but a lot of it. I also have natural curl – which can be a struggle.

Q: What do you find is your biggest struggle with your hair?

Finding the right balance between volume and too much volume. It tends to get very heavy on top. Sometimes it is a bit too big – in which case I pretend I am in Texas …

Q: What do you LOVE about your hair?

The fact that I can wear curly, wavy, and straight AND that I can pull off the majority of hair colors…although I have promised my husband to NEVER go red again.

Q: What is your favorite Product and why?

Currently it is a spray wax. It kicks butt for styling, molding, shaping, volume – you name it and It works without feeling icky.

Q: Besides the Color and Cut you have now, What would be a fun change you’d love to try in the future?

I have done shorter hair, but I am totally enthralled with Victoria Beckham’s hair.

This Month’s Interview: Tina Knable

Q:  How often are you receiving Compliments on your hair?

I get compliments on my hair at least once a week. People always want to know where I go to get it done.

Q: Describe your Hair Texture for everyone:

My hair is very fine and I have a lot of it! It is also very straight and I have a hard time getting it to hold a curl.

Q: What do you find is your biggest struggle with your hair? 

I have 2 things that I struggle with. Since my hair is very fine, I have a hard time getting volume in my hair. Kati has helped me find the perfect balance of products to help me with this. My other struggle is that I have problems with static in the winter.

Q: What do you LOVE about your hair?

Everything! I love the length, it took a little bit of convincing to cut it shorter about a year ago but I’m very glad I finally parted with my longer hair. This cut is much more flattering and I feel more confident.

Mostly, I LOVE the color! I like the fact that it is not all one color but there are multiple tones and highlights throughout. It really gives it something extra that I could never achieve from trying to do my own hair.

Q: What is your favorite Product and why? 

Just one? I absolutely love Osis Dust it! But if I can only pick one…I would have to say my most recent favorite is Pureology’s Texture Twist. It helps me get a little extra volume in my hair and it keeps my bangs perfectly in place. I also like that it has multiple uses. It’s also perfect for taming my hair when it has static.

Q: Besides the Color and Cut you have now, What would be a fun change you’d love to try in the future?

I would love to try a darker hair color. I really like how Reese Witherspoon looked when she went from blonde to brunette!

It’s so much more than just a great cut and color, it’s the feeling of confidence because she makes you look great. Kati is an extremely talented stylist and she really goes above and beyond to give amazing service.She’s very easy to talk to and has a way of making you laugh.  When I go in for an appointment I feel like the most important person and I have her complete undivided attention.

I also value her honesty and her professional advice. Sometimes I will get an idea for my hair that just won’t work for me and she is great at offering her recommendations to make sure I look my best!
